Don't know about Hawken? This is a Mechwarrior type online multiplayer game. Basically you get to ride around in a giant robot and blow stuff up. The final release will be this December so right now playing the beta to play it early and provide feedback on issues and ideas to improve the game. I have to admit I will have to upgrade my system some as this game is pushing my i7 and nVidia Geforce GTX 260 pretty hard.
